Our Executive Chef, Tom Elder, has created distinctive menus with a farm to table mission. Many of our ingredients are sourced locally from Virginia, and he has created close relationships with the farmers to ensure a quality, healthful offering for you and your family.

During peak growing season, Tom can easily be found in the hotel’s own organic garden where he infuses his herbs and home-grown produce into his menus.He has been featured in local press for his creative work, and his talents have been enjoyed by customers ranging from Chicago to Florida.

For your wedding, Tom will work with you to create a customized food story that describes you as a couple, whether it be with a nod to your childhood in a memorable dish or by highlighting a travel experience that means most to you.

VENUES

The Atrium is the hotel’s most recognizable and sought-after venue for weddings and special occasions. Lush draperies frame floor to ceiling glass windows, drawing your eyes upward to the sparkling sky above.

The crowning feature of the Atrium is the spectacular chandelier dramatically hung in the center to provide ambient lighting. Our International Ballroom offers contemporary design with a neutral color palette, ideal for creating a look and feel all your own.

Earth tones in soft cream and chocolate brown flank the walls with elegant crown molding framework. Wall sconces and chandeliers with a modern look provide a bold design impact with customized lighting controls to create the mood for the evening.

The Continental Ballroom is an intimate setting for smaller wedding parties, with impressive lighting and a contemporary feel. This room can be customized to fit the look you want with up-lighting and a made to fit dance floor to keep the party going as long as you’d like.
